HOME PAGE/EXPLORE​

The App opens on the Explore tab witht some data about the content. Links to My Sightings and Planner allow the user to interact with the App and check off Wildlife Sightings and Enter your itinerary with Planner.

Along the bottom are the other main tabs.

MAPS

​

In here you will find a full colour offline map of each park and filters to display items of interest such as camps and picnic sites.

​

TIP: Mark your personal favourites and the camps you are staying in and when Favourites is pressed it shows only the areas you are interested in without the clutter of them all.

WILDLIFE

​

Here you will find hundreds of different wildlife species to look up for some facts about habitat, behaviour and conservation status.

Open up the page for more information nad use the Mark as Seen button to go into My Sightings and make an entry in your Journal.

JOURNAL​

​

When you make a sighting it will automatically be loaded to your Journal as a record of for you to view at anytime.

 

You can also add a manual entry for days spent outside of a park e.g. dinner arrival hotel.

PLANNER

​

Here is where you enter your itinerary that lists where you are going each day.

​

For each day you can select the park you will be in or add Other for an activity that is not in a park e.g. West Kili Hike.

​

For each entry you add your own photos or take a picture with your phone.

MY SIGHTINGS

​

This fun part of the app is where you can see details of everything you have seen in Wildlife: mammals, reptiles, birds, trees or plants and flowers.

​

When you make a sighting you can click on it to see more information and upload your own photos.
